Fails to Upgrade/Install on Windows 10

Just as others, I too am having trouble with installing and getting NS to run on my laptop. I am using my Toshiba Satellite if that is of any use of information. I upgraded from Windows 8.1 just the other day just to find that Norton hadn't been recovered a my other apps have. So I go on the website, sign in and boom! Right there in front of me it says that my product key was expired and everything. I click to install and it's been saying upgrading ever since. I go into support and use the removal tool as instructed and when I get back on to reinstall it it gets stuck at the "starting" point and stays that way endlessly until I try to exit out of the window which in turn prompts me that it had stopped working and automatically windows starts checking for a solution. So, I haven't really had a specific error message like others have but the program is certainly not upgrading on my account and is not installing on my PC.
