I am a new member, not particularly computer literate (PC wise) and encountered a problem that I have not been able to resolve.
My Norton Internet Security program on my laptop does not boot under any circumstances. I receive two error messages. The first is when from the control panel ribbon states "Norton internet security reports it is turned off". When I try to turn it on (I have Windows 7 Ultimate OS), I get the follow error message- "unspecified program error".
When I try to open up ANY of the Norton IS features from the computer control panel, none boot up and I get the message
C:\Program Files\Internet Security\Engine\18.6.0.29\uistub.exe unspecified error
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
