If you disabled auto-protect and the firewall, and the game still does not start, then there may still be some problem from the infection itself. Norton may not have been able to remove it completely, but it doesn't appear that Norton is the problem.
Try running Malwarebytes to see if it finds anything else.

Hello GeorgeGRE
Please stop by one of the free malware removal sites and have them tell you what scans to run to see if your computer is clean.. There might be some remnants which the other programs missed or there might still be something lurking inside yet which caused the Fake Microsoft Security to first appear in the first place. They are the ones who can tell you if your computer is completely clean and if it isn't, they can help you get it clean again.
Please go to one of these free Forums for help in removing your bad malware or rootkits.

Hello George
I would still recommend a visit to one of the free removal sites. They would be able to find out why your games are not working. It appears that you have had several fake security programs in your computer. Something caused those malwares to get into your machine. These sites can help to check if your computer is clean and they are free. It is possible that you have a rootkit which is causing you problems. If you don't have any more malware, they can tell you that also. I am an online gamer also, so I know how you feel.
They can't help me...Just need something removal like spyhunter, trojankiller or something...
Please let us know which game you are trying to play. Does it gives any error message? Did you check with the Game manufacturer regarding this problem? Sometimes, this problem may not be related to Norton.
If you still suspect that you have malware in the computer, I would suggest to try Norton Power Eraser. Download and run Norton Power Eraser tool :
http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/DIY/index.jsp
Go for Rootkit Scan and Restart the computer. Check if it detects any threats and if it does, please provide us the filename and other details. Don't fix any files now, you can fix those after getting confirmation in this thread.

i tryed everything from norton and other removals!and i play games king kong, zombie pani source, killing floor, resident evil 5and other 10 games and it not working
Hi
Is their any chance that some how the games files have been damaged??
are these games legal i.e not torrened/cracked/keygened/Pirated??
If everything fails
If you have the Windows disc with you
type in sfc /scannow command it should fix any problems with windows if they exist
Try using COMODO Cleaning Essentials or Hitman Pro 3.5. One of them would clean the infection, although it seems strange that SONAR is not blocking anything.
Hello GeorgeGRE
Try cleaning up Adobe Flash player and make sure you have the latest version of that program. A new version of that is supposed to be coming out this week also. I would suggest uninstalling the version you have using their removal tool and then installing it again. It sounds like some of your files got damaged in the removals of all your malwares.. Try repairing Adobe Flash first.
i'm not sure if you are using legit software so i was hesitant to help you at all but anyway i'd download RKill from bleeping computer..run it then run something like drwebscureit and malwarebytes, if that doesnt work..try a bootable malware disk,
my games aren't pirated, cracked, torrented or something another you say...and scannow can't be found on command
i tryed rkill and everything removals from bleepingcomputers tryed malwarebytes anti malware superantispyware EVERYTHING I TRIED!!!
hi,
Adobe flash is for internet not for games...my problem is my games
Hi
Is their a particular error you face with the games!
Or is it that they don`t start at all!
open command prompt a type sfc /scannow and press enter windows will request you for the Windows disc If any files are missing/Corrupted
