it found only 1 threat!named 1disabled...what does it mean?nvm
Fake Microsoft Security essentials blocked my games and got removed by norton AND GAMES NOT WORKING!
system specs and any error messages would help also
the latest generations of rogues can damage your registry entries so even if you remove it the damage is done, this is most likely what is stopping you from running your games, do you have a backup registry?
sorry but i don't know ANYTHING for backups registry...im using windows xp
if it is from firewalli had disabled it and my games keeping not starting!if you mean NPE=Norton power eraser i have trying to many times!it didn;t work
Hello
Adobe flash is also used in many games.. The malware removal sites which I have mentioned can help you fix your games and/or computer, but you don't want to go that route. They do more there than just remove the malware. Do you have the xp cd? This is where it is important to have an image backup of your system or some sort of backup of your computer.
Here the threat i found it on history freescanner.exe (Trojan.Gen.2)Detected by Auto-Protect so i puted selection and there are renew the threat to be on my pc...what should i do?
try this registry fix CLICK ME save the link called "fix broken exe" to desktop and double click, run and then click ok, it fixes altered .exe entries in your windows registry from rogue viruses.
backup your registry first by going to start menu-->click run--->type regedit and click enter-->file, export-->name the file and click save.
that file you siad appeared on my files!not desktop...so i runned it all ok that you said but that you say export name and save can't do that...
its not important where you saved the .reg file aslong as you ran it and it gave a message that it was entered into the registry..now restart the computer and see if your games will run, if this doesnt work you will have to go to one of the help sites that has been suggested in this thread and ask them for help..
no the games doesn.t work...because i started king kong and it showed me an error!
what is the error?
Hello George
I can definitely see why remediation help isn't given here any more by the expert.. The places to get expert help in fixing your computer have been stated a couple of times. Messing with the registry can be a dangerous thing in the hands of those who are not experienced in the removal of malware and the fixing up of a computer. Using all kinds of tools recommended by people can lead to making your computer worse unless they are experts.. The people who are experts in helping people fix their computers so programs and legit games work are located in the mentioned sites. But after trying all sorts of tools without expert guidance on a 1 to 1 basis may have made the fixing of your computer more difficult if possible.
This thread was started a week ago, but the decision is yours to make as to how you want to fix your computer. We can only make recommendations.
thats why i told him to backup his registry first, but im experienced in removing malware and this will not cause any damage.
GeorgeGRE, a site i recommend for you to go to is techguy, only expert malware removal people are authorized to help you there, you will need to post a hijack this scan along with others logs, if you do have a virus or a broken file system they will fix it.
good luck.
One thing noted is the registry fix may have been wrong and the extended version, this registry fix does not work with some Fake AV's as they use a different registry entry to stop .exe's
In any case I notice the fix to fix non running of .exe's was after the user used NPE, MBAM and SAS which are .exe's that did run so, exe's are not the problem like that.

@Moderators maybe you should make a section for malware removal where only you guys can post if you dont want the average user offering help.

the application CheckApplication found a error and must end the.......sorry for that...
and other some errors
It sounds like you have malware in your system. This malware registers itself as process debugger and will be starting every time any app starts in your system. During the "start" phase, this "debugger" will corrupt some chunk of memory thus app shouldn't start because of memory corruption.
This is my point.
You always can download Kaspersky Virus Removal
1. Try scan your PC with it.
2. After scan completion navigate to "Manual removal" tab and make system report. Please upload this report here.
[edit: Please do not direct link to downloads per the Participation Guidelines and Terms of Service.]
Go to a specialist forum for this, as already previously mentioned.
A bunch of programs already chucked at the problem without logging and going nowhere fast.
