Sometimes when in a shop etc, the bell on my app with have a red dot but no errors or warnings. Should this be expected?

When I reviewed Menu → Identity tile.
Norton wanted me to sign in to my Norton account.
Now, after signing in…I’m not seeing red dot.
Maybe, Dark Web Monitoring/Norton account…sign in dropped out after an update.
Alerts (red dot) wanted me to review/refresh my Dark Web Monitoring.
