Apologies I’m not allowed to add links to my post which is rather annoying…
My website shsbcharitabletrust “dot” org is being misclassified as Phishing by Norton SafeWeb.
I have claimed ownership at safeweb “dot” norton “dot” com and submitted a dispute and reviews on the entry on the Norton SafeWeb website
I have additionally raised false positive reports at submissions “dot” norton “dot” com “slash” reportfalsepositive and have been in contact with Norton Support twice over the last 12 days. I’m told it’s been raised to the “senior team” for review, but don’t feel confident this is going to be resolved so am posting for further assistance.
The site is clearly not phishing since:
We’re a registered charity with details listed on the site matching up with the official Register of Charities with the Charity Commission of England and Wales (Our registration number is 1211479)
The school we support (Southend High School for Boys) link to us from their own site, see the Fundraising page at shsb “dot” org “dot” uk
I have provided this information to Norton but no progress has been made and I’ve not received any correspondence back from my filed disputes.
Case numbers from chats were 93538680 and 93657288 …
Have you managed to get it re-reviewed already?! It’s still showing with a warning at safeweb “dot” norton “dot” com but maybe that just takes time to update?
Great result - yes it was coming through inconsistently but now I think the “safe” result has propagated more fully. Thank you for your assistance, 10/10!
