False Positive on my URL

Hello,

Can you please review https://www.appletreeweeschool.com all major antivirus software companies has verified the site as safe. The website has been up for a long time with no changes or issues. It just changed to Warning from Norton. I scanned all files and there are no issues having site security and country block on the site etc.

This is odd because on the back end of Norton Safeweb it is list as “Safe” with the green check mark.

I contacted Norton and the Representative said the issue is on their side and would take care of the matter and have it corrected. He also said he would send me a confirmation number in 20 minutes on 12/30/2025. I didn’t receive anything.

I also reported it via False Positive and False Negative Submissions Portal but no action or response.

I took screenshots if needed, of which the URL is listed as “Safe”

Much appreciated on your time and help on this issue.

Please advise.
Respectfully

Hi,

Thank you for the responses.

You may see the an error if you are using an IP outside the US. I have a country block on it.

The IP address 65.254.238.128 which was Ipower and is now iPage.

I have 10 other sites that have the same IP and similar website design’s which Norton is not having any issues with them.

Avast, AVG, and McAfee are listing this site as “Safe”

The representative from Norton that I talked to on the phone said it was an issue on their end and he would correct it.

He could have dropped the ball because his bigger concern was selling me an upgrade to my Norton plan to have Norton with LifeLock added to my current subscription.

My Representative from Norton stated this could have been easily corrected through the Norton Community.

Thank you for you time and help. I just need the website to be listed as safe as per my communication’s with Norton.

Respectfully

Please Note: I have waited over 48 hours for Norton.

===========================================

Can you temporarily remove the country block?
Can you try Norton support with the original Case ID?

=============================================

Norton support team member that I talked to said he would email me the case number and no worries, but no response from him on 12/30/2025.

His attention after that was more on selling me the Lifelock upgrade on my subscription.

Do you run Norton 360?
Are you seeing Norton 360 Safe Web Threat secured pop-up with an Alert ID?

Thank you bjm. I really appreciate the time and help on this issue you have provided.

I’m not at my main computer to turn off Country Block. I will be on Monday 1/5/2025

I’m running Norton 360 and I’m seeing in MS Edge browser:

(Question for thought: All my other sites (10) are using the IP 65.254.238.128 are not having any issues with Country Block and basically the same software and CMS. In theory all the site’s should be reporting this and so should Avast, AVG, and McAfee. Why on the back end of Norton it is listing it as “Safe”) No need for response just thinking through the situation.

I will wait for the response from the reported URL for a False Positive.

Again, I can’t thank you enough for your time and help.

I disabled Norton Safe Web extension and no popup occurred. (laptop)

I also checked and took a screenshot from my cell phone. My cell phone has Norton 360 and it is not showing any issues and has a green check. No warnings etc. Same ISP.

Okay…I was looking for…for example:

Now on my laptop I’m getting after the Warning on Firefox but it states it’s safe

On MS Edge:

fwiw ~ no change regarding my posts … at this time

Yes, I see that bjm. I have cleared all my browser caches via the browser’s and Norton Utilities.

Firefox shows the site as “Safe” and MS Edge shows the site with a warning, please see below:

MS Edge 1-4-2026:

Mozilla FireFox 1-4-2026:

I never had this happen to only 1 site before, while the other 10 that have the same CMS and design with no issues. As in previous posts: Avast, AVG, and McAfee are listing this site as “Safe”

On the back end of Norton Safe Web it is listed as seen below:

EDIT1:
I’m in Chat session…now.

fwiw ~ I wonder whether “country block” is causing an issue for Norton automated analysis?

EDIT2:
Chat agent requested Alert ID & related screenshots.
I pulled Alert ID & related screenshots from this thread.

Hello @Pberetta2
I imagine the process will be better served if support contacts you.

I’ll post back if/when I hear back from support.

Looking through this thread, I do not see that you have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Safe Web extension in Edge. At this point it would be worth a try.

I’m thinking “country block” remains

I contacted Norton Support. They did a remote session uninstalled and reinstalled Norton 360 as peterweb suggested in prior post. Rep. created a False Positive report and told me to wait 48 hours.

I turned off Country Block temporarily, rotated my IP to Germany via VPN and the problems still exited with the one site. The Norton Support team thinks it is something on their end. They were in the back end of Norton account and reported the site is “Safe”.

I guess I will have to wait 48 hours for their tier 3 team to review the issue. But as I told the representative, the is causing SEO issues with customers that have Norton installed on their systems.

They did create a ticket this time.

Thanks bjm and peterweb hope they come up with a solutions soon.
