False Positive!

This is the second time i wrote to you.

I would like to resolve the issue of IObit's Drive Booster and IObit Uninstaller being assessed as 'Potentially Unwanted Program', with the result that Norton 360 stops the download and quarantines until I turn off Norton 360 autoprotect and add the IObit folder to the 'Exclude' set in Norton 360.

My background. I have used Norton's Utilities since a very youthful picture of Peter Norton appeared on the yellow box.  (Is Peter still part of the company?)  Great service until the programs became so bloated that they bogged the computer and like many others, I stopped using them.  Then Norton recovered with a full rewrite, and I have been using Norton for at least seven years.  In my small town of about 1,000 people - Mallacoota Victoria Australia - I retail NIS OEM and sell about 50 copies a year.  Now I have regular clients who buy an annual subscription as they only have to enter the product code.  I still find - as recently as yesterday - people are reluctant to install Norton because they remember the mal-effect on the computer.  I convince them otherwise, and all my Norton customers are very pleased with the product.

Now onto IObit products. I installed 'IObit Uninstaller' and 'Drive booster' on my pc . But Norton 360 flagged them as PUA which is not acceptable. After chatting with your agent, I wrote to IObit to modify their products according to your requirements. I am informed they have released a new version exclusive for this problem never to recommend their products with the installation. I assume this was solved finally. Today, I installed the newly released IObit Uninstaller from Major Geeks, and Norton still reported as a threat and removed it.I was so disappointed. Please remove this false positive quickly.

Maybe you can check the details of  both the download links and the program on the below links, there is no harm at all.

I'm currently writing a Kindle book on Tuning PCs.  My intention is to recommend Norton as the Internet Security Suite of choice, and IObit utilities as the Tuning Suite of Choice - based on my many years of excellent service from these products.

I'm hoping you two industry-dominant companies can get together and resolve the clashes between the two product sets. From my perspective, you are King & Queen of the mountain, and I'd like to see harmonious relations between you.  Happy to test any solutions you come up with.

Kind regards, and thanks for your great products
