False Positives increased lately?

I'm using NAV 2010 (17.5.0.127) and recently i been getting a lot more false positives then i used to. Since the beginning of November 2009 until 24th of January 2010 i got a single false positive. Now for the last two days i got 8. It's starting to become a bit annoying. It says "The Insight Network Detection has been removed" and the threat is "Reser.Reputation.1". Below are two examples of false positives. The first link is the latest version of UltraISO downloaded from the homepage of the developer and for sure not infected. The second link is the homepage for Emeditor 9.10 where i also get a false positive and neither this one contains a threat. For Emeditor it happened when i downloaded the full version and not sure if the trial will give the same result. Download of the full version require an account and a valid license so cannot provide a direct download link. All the 8 false positives for the last two days is msi installation files from a safe source and the same threat (Reser.Reputation.1).

I know i can submit the sample for Symantec to fix, but won't bother to submit 4 samples a day. I clicked submit from the NAV GUI and not sure what will happen with the files submitted that way. Would be nice to know if something changed recently which is the reason for the increase of false positives. I got the 17.5 update a few days ago and have not changed any settings. Anyone else see the same behavior?

I also find it very strange that Emeditor and UltraISO got a bad repuation which is the reason why those files where quarantined. In that case the reputation system doesn't work very well. It would be interesting to know how this classification works and how those two where classified as unsafe.

I also have to add that i downloaded a new version of Emeditor released less then 10 minutes ago and it was removed for the same reason as explained in my previous post. NAV says "There are many indications that this file is untrustworthy and therefore not safe". Just curious what those "many indications" are since the program been released less then 10 minutes ago and most likely downloaded only by a few people at the time it was detected by NAV as unsafe.

Reported and being worked on according to

Thank you for your reply. I obviously missed that thread. Then hopefully there will be a fix soon.
