False report about my computer memory

I just received a message stating that my computer is low on memory (it is new, almost 1TB) and some more BS problems , so I have to upgrade to Norton Deluxe. Is it some kind of promotion or what?!
Very upset new customer.

What stands out to me is that the message looks much more like a sales and marketing pitch rather than an error message from a concerned program.

Norton has melded the two together to cause confusion on the part of less experienced users. I guess it is caveat emptor when it comes to buying Norton products.

And just an FYI. The 1TB you mention is your hard drive storage. Not your memory. Memory is the temporary Random Access Memory on your motherboard.

This has been going on for a while.  It is a Norton ad for something.  It wouldn't be so bad if the low memory warning was accurate.  But it is not, which is terribly misleading.
