I was a user of Norton I still have 710 (~2year) days left, But as I bought a new key as it was on sale I just wanted to check the validity and genuinty. While talking to norton support they promised me that If i add the new key my subscription would be extended without losing any day, after repeatedly asking this and making sure only I had added they new key, after activating the support executive said the maximum subscription is 4 years only so she asked me to contact after 2 years so that she can add the remaining 710 days. But when I am contacting now the norton support are declining to add the days which were initially not added due to maximum days limitation. I tried multiple times contacting support, even they promise me to give a callback but I never got a callback. How can norton scam people who are paying for key and deny the promise they have made.
Funniest thing is, support agent provides me invalid numbers and ask me to post in community for resolution.

I paid for a new subscription on 08/26/2023 and it still says that I don't have any protection. I will get another company from Best Buy to furnish me with protection and I'll dispute the charges for Norton on my credit card. Sorry company that I'm dealing with.
