Family Notification: Browser Extension Disabled

I keep getting emails from Norton Family saying:

The Norton Family browser extension for ***** is disabled on:

  • Laptop - Google Chrome

Please ensure Norton Family browser extension is enabled on your child's device.

At first I thought maybe my son had figured out how to disable it but I literally check the laptop the minute I get the message so he doesn't have time to change it back and the extension is enabled so I don't think he's changing it.

Any advice on why I still might be getting this notification? I double checked the instructions and it looks exactly as they say it should.

I don't want to accuse my son again if he's really not changing it, but if he is I want to know that too.

Welcome to the Norton Family forum.
If you are sure that the Norton Family Extension is Enabled in the Google Chrome
for the child’s windows account, then please try restarting the device to check again.
If the issue still persists, we would like to have remote session to troubleshoot the issue further.
