FBI Scam seems to hit when I go to www.eham.net

I seem to get this occasionally when I go to the above site.  Not every time.  What is the best way to keep this out of my computer?  I thought Norton was supposed to take of these not-new threats!!

Thoroughly dissappointed.  Wasting money here?  Anyway, Norton failed so how do I fix?

Thanks.  Running Windows XP.

It is new as what you see as FBI keeps changing to.

Just don't go to that website.

So Norton's inability to deal with the FBI virus is my stomping on my foot?  Hmmm.... Maybe Norton is the scam???

I guess so.  I have been reading advice, but nothing useful from Quads....

Just looking on how to get rid of it.  Sigh.  Look elsewhere, I guess.

You are the one that started the Doc comparsion,  Oh well you are calling Norton a scam and wanting to go to a bad website and not learning by doing so.

Good Luck

The point is that viruses have variants and sometimes the variant is new so it may not be stopped by any AV software. You need perhaps to understand the nature of AV products and not expect 100% protection 100% of the time because new malware has to be detected, classified, investigated and solutions found. Even if this took only one hour, it is possible you get infected before a solution is available.
