Windows 10 is able to share updates with other computer on a local network. Could you make NIS share virus database updates with other computers on a local network? Instead of my desktop and laptop both downloading the same updates from the Norton server, could you make it possible for NIS to search the local network for virus database updates. If virus database updates are found on a computer that is connected to the local network, then download the updates from that computer instead of the Norton server. I have a metered internet connection and this would save bandwidth.
