Oh, this site is appalling. I have read that Norton is stopping me installing Windows Mail. So I came here for help. Seems I found the fan club instead. Tried emailing Norton - comes back as a non-existant address. Tried calling the helpline. Oh, that was fun, "What?" "Sorry?" "Pardon"? What is the point of setting up a helpline in a country where English is a second language? (Oh wait - money). Then she wanted the sort of details I'd be very unwilling to give anyone. Why do you need my address and phone number to solve a simple query? If only I had never heard of Norton. I will never touch your appalling stuff again. If this is the way you treat your customers, you can't be surprised when they tell you what to so with your software.
I put this message here as it's the only way I could get a message sent anywhere. There really is no end to it, is there? "Customer service". Look it up.
I moved your message that was posted in the forum feedback board to here for better exposure. I'm sorry to know about your experience. But if you would like us to offer some assistance here, we would be more than happy to do it for you. Feel free to create a new thread in the apporpriate product board and fill in what huwyngr has requested for.

As far as I know, the Customer Service requires the phone number to call you back in case the phone session gets disconnected in between the troubleshooting. And, Email Address/Billing Address is to verify whether you are an authorized user of a Norton program for which you need help. I think, these are usually required for all types of Customer Service/Technical Support.
