File Cleanup (is trash)

Before the Norton 360 revamp/update/overhaul/whateveryoucallit a year or so ago, using the file cleanup you could add specific folders to clean using the auto cleanup feature or at least other locations were included, now it just cleans browsers cache and windows temp files, it was convenient to have it clean app data temp folders for certain apps that store data cache I’d like gone at the end of the day, norton 360 deluxe used to clean these files, now it does not and there is no way to add any additional folder, unless you pay a subscription for additional features which should be basic and included from the start ie,. utilities ultimate

Yes indeed. One great feature removed for the sake of an unneeded sell-up, it makes good business sense not much else from the standpoint of the consumer. Microsoft is learning a lesson they’ve experienced time and again with Windows 11 and the demise of Windows 10. Never, ever, break a product consumers absolutely love for the sake of a dollar and being the biggest guy in town. Yet, here we are once again with that same scenario. I HOPE, Norton listens. Consumers are speaking loudly and respectfully.
