File Insight Convicted then Symantec Exonerated ~ Does NIS auto restore from Quarantine

Hello Community

I had a dl exe quarantined.

I submitted to Symantec > quote:

The Symantec Insight Dispute team has reviewed your recent submission to the Insight Dispute Submission form Webpage form "SUMo no RK." In light of further investigation and analysis Symantec is happy to remove this detection from within its products.  Please ensure that your machine reflects the change by running LiveUpdate.

OK, so does NIS at some point "auto Restore file from quarantine"  ... or is "Restore from quarantine" solely a user manual option.

Had I not submitted file to Symantec...would NIS eventually notify me via pop-up that the file has been exonerated. Community Watch had several submissions for this event.

Does NIS scan quarantine items after live update???

2-3 days thats quite a lot considering the file has already been identified as clean

I'll update Topic and let you know.

Prior to this event.   I always manually restored from quarantine after Symantec deemed dl clean / ok.

This time....I was curious to see auto restore from quarantine.
