File Insight Provides No Insight At All

I have NAV 2011 on Windows 7 x64 Professional.

This morning I received a message from File Insight: svchost has excessive disk read activity -- 42MB.

So...what?

What should I do about this, File Insight? Run a scan? Try to diagnose the problem - how? Should I be worried about all this disk read activity? Particularly since svchost.exe is "Many Users, Mature, Good"? What made you decide that the disk read activity is excessive? How much is normal? Is my computer infected?

I think you're getting my point: This was a useless message from File Insight that provided no insight at all.

I occasionally get the message that internet explorer has excessive cpu count. This usually happens if I’m playing cpu intensive game like farmville. I think Symantec put that feature in to let the user if a program is using too much memory, etc. This feature should be tweaked in the future because its a little too sensitive.

You can actually tweak it yourself, here:
