File Insight

I am repeatedly getting the following Norton 360 popup:

File Insight:  D2392827.TMP

Unknown communicty usage, unknown age, unproven

Downloaded from unknown.

"There is not enough information about this file to recommend it."

What does it mean and what should I do about it?

I generate Fortran programs for civil engineering analyses.File Insight keeps removing my programs and I am tired of re-trusting the programs every time I recompile or copy to another directory.  Is there any fix apart from removing Norton's systems.

Does this message come up when you are trying to download a file? It could be a temporary file associated with the download.

Try going into My Computer and right clicking on your C drive. Click on Properties, then Disk Cleanup. Go through the file options for cleanup and make sure Temporary files, and Temporary Internet files are checked. Then click OK.

I tried disk cleanup.  I'm waiting to see whether the File insight message recurs.

thanks
