Firefox 14.0.1, IE 9.0.9 are crashing for all links on a single website since around August 16, 2012. Don't know if this is related to update of Java and Norton 360 shortly before the problem started.
Example link is http://www.globaltestmarket.com/survey/s.phtml?E_232837_47b4ca78b35b31ac The problem does not affect Chrome 21.0.1180.83 The page will start loading and then crashes the program. Turning off Toolbar fixes the failure.
Norton 360 2012 V 6.3.0.14 is installed on Windows 7 Ultimate.
Firefox, IE, and Chrome all report Norton Toolbar version is 2012.5.5.11 which is different from the publised version number 2012.74.1for Norton 360 2012 (6.2.1) published in "Firefox 14 Support for Norton Toolbar" posting in this forum. Vulnerability Protection as 11.0.0.243-2 which matches published version number.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Norton 360 after running Norton Unistall Utility and run updates and restarted numerous times, but Toolbar version remains the same. What is the correct toolbar version for Norton 360 20212 v 6.3.0.14. It should be listed in the sticky forum topic referred to previously. Also did a complete uninstall/reinstall of Firefox 14.
Wanted to add my information to all the other reports of such behaviour on this forum.
