Firefox 22 and Norton Vunerability Protection in Norton Internet Security

Hi,

I have updated to Firefox 22, and run Liveupdate but Norton is disabled in Firefox.

The Norton website, says that a fix is available for Firefox 22, and running LiveUpdate will fix it.

I have tried this, but it does not work.

I am using the latest Norton Internet Security 20.4.0.40 and have run Liveupdate a number of times, and rebooted.

Liveupdate reports "Your Norton product has the latest protection updates".

In Firefox, the Norton Toolbar is running, but add-ins in Firefox says that Norton Vunerability Protection 11.3.0.9 -5 is disabled.

Can you help with these questions:

1. Is Norton Vunerability Protection running or not (the Norton toolbar in Firefox is working, but the Vunerability add on is disabled)

2. What does the Vunerability protection do, which the Windows Desktop version of Norton Internet Security does not do?

3. Approximately when will Norton be corrected to work with Firefox 22?

4. Should the Norton page reporting that there is a fix for Norton with Firefox 22 be updated to reflect the fact that it does not work and list a date when a new fix will be released.

These will help me decide whether or not I revert to the previous version of Firefox until Norton is corrected.

Thanks
