I got the update today, and it seems to be working fine.

There also seems to be less background activity.....

 

is the patch list posted anywhere?

When will the Norton toolbar be available on Firefox 3 in Windows XP.

The update has come through on my 3 Vista computers but the XP computer still does not have the toolbar.

I have run Live update at least 20 times and it says everything is up to date. Do I have to uninstall Firefox 3 and then reinstall

I'm still using XP and the toolbar is working fine on my FireFox 3 since the update yesterday. 

 

It would be nice if Norton can post a patch on the Downloads page.

There was a problem that was found with the released patch, where unknown characters were being autofilled with Identity Safe. This patch has been removed. We are working to fix the problem with the last patch, and I will update this thread with the latest status. Thank you for your patience.

You guys realize that this is a problem with NIS2008 as well, right?

Yes.   There is a long thread located here, in the NIS section of the forum.   (HINT: skip to the last new pages of posts, don't try and read the entire thread at this point. The thread started as a general 'Where is the toolbar in FF3?" thread before the initial release of the update that had issues.)

The patch for Norton 360 v2 compatibility with Firefox 3 is now available. To obtain this update, be sure you are running Norton 360 v2 and run LiveUpdate through the product. It will be automatically downloaded and installed.

I am running a vista home premium machine with norton 360 v2 and still have not recieved the updates for the Norton toolbar for Firefox 3.  Help?

What do you see in extra –> options –> add ons?

Extra---> options--> Add-ons-->> ? Si that in Firefox 3 or Norton 360?  I don't see that anywhere.

No the norton tool bar does not show up in add-ons in firefox.  I emailed tech support, they told me to uninstall using the Norton tool, then reinstall.  I only want to do that as a last resort because I have had such problems in the past doing that.  HOurs and hours with tech support to get it working again.  Anyone?  Anymore suggestions?  please?

Wait for firefox to be officially released
