I have Firefox 6.0.2 and Norton Internet Security 4.0 (Mac Edition). The Add-ons Manager/Extension in Firefox tells me that the Norton Confidential Toolbar for Firefox is incompatible with Firefox 6.0.2. I have tried everything Tim Lopez suggested to no avail. Tried to download an update to my NIS, but my download was apparently some sort of PC/Windows file and when I opened it, it was just a window full of gobbledeeygook. I'm wondering if the fact that my NIS is for Macintosh is an issue with Tim Lopez's solutions.
Any help would be much appreciated. Maybe there is a better product for folks with Macs. I'm pretty frustrated.
