I am running Windows 7 x64 and I recently upgraded from NIS 2012 to NIS 2013. I noticed that Firefox will sometimes have a second firefox.exe in my Task Manager. Sometimes it will have Nightly or Firefox as the Description, like normal, and sometime it will have nothing. Other times Firefox will exit and will not close the normal firefox.exe. Right clicking and clicking 'End Process' returns Access Denied on both the original (if it does not close when I exit Firefox) and the second one. However, it will go away if I log off and log back into my Windows account, restart, or shutdown. It does not appear on boot-up and I do not believe it is the Ivy virus. I have searched for the registry key in my Registry that is associated with the Ivy virus, however, I have found nothing. I also ran two deep system scans so, unless Norton missed it, I am sure it is not a virus. The second firefox.exe is usually 100,000K-170,000K like firefox, sometimes it is smaller around 40,000K. I have a feeling the second is generated when I exit Firefox incorrectly and reopen it (leaving the original that did not close correctly and the new firefox window.) I was wondering if anyone else was having this happen due to upgrading to NIS 2013 and if they had a fix. (I have never had this happen when I used NIS 2012 and I was curious). It is not affecting my computer, however, seeing in my Task Manager is beginning to annoy me.
