I recently installed the 30 trial version of Deluxe. This occurred on the same day I received the Anniversary update of Windows 10. Previously I was using a copy of Symatec given to me by my company and was free to use as long as I worked there. It no longer worked with Windows 10 so I selected this product to try.
I'm using Firefox 49.0.1 and the most recent version of Norton
Ever since installing, it takes at least 30 seconds and probably closer to a minute to open Firefox, which is set to open Yahoo has a home page. I did a search and found that it was recommended to stop the scan on open for firefox files. I excluded the entire folder from scans.
It's still happening. I'm almost at the point of getting some other product.
It also seems like my computer is running a bit slower, and I can't open some of the icons from my task bar - I have to go to the program list. For example, I can't even open Norton from there.
Any ideas to help? I'm about to go back to Zone Alarm, which I used until my company gave me a copy of Symantec.
