About 30 hours ago I ran Live Update to update NIS to the newly-released 22.6.0.142.
For some reason this has caused my Firefox (44.0.2) to become sluggish, e.g., annoying delays in response in typing, scrolling, changing tabs, etc.
Nothing has changed besides the NIS update, so NIS sure looks like culprit. Further evidence of this is that, looking at the NIS performance info, I see that Firefox memory usage started jumping way up soon after the NIS update. E.g., at the moment my Firefox memory usage, after about ten hours usage, has climbed to 1.9 mb. In the five days preceding the NIS update, the highest it climbed (after about the same amount of time and with similar usage) is 1.15 mb. Fyi I do not use the Identity Safe add-on.
Any ideas? And on a related note, how can I go back to the previous NIS version (22.5.5.15), aside from doing a System Restore (Windows 7)?
Thanks.
