For the last few weeks I have been getting warnings from Microsoft ( doesn't look like Norton warning) that my virus protection and Firewall are not on. However, I have Norton virus protection for virus and firewall turned on. The warnings are on the bottom right above the taskbar and usually before I can click on them they disappear. For the last few days I have been able to click on them and get a response. The first was a small box replica of the Windows security in control panel that showed my Norton firewall was on and windows defender was off. The other that said Virus took me to security and showed Norton virus protection was on. Why am I suddenly getting these popups? Are they from Windows or Norton? I have already reported this on the Microsoft Forum but have received no answer to this problem. The popups are red so I don't believe this is from Norton. Scans show no problems .Could this be a result of a Live Update from Norton or a Windows update. I've had this computer for almost a year and always had Norton protection so I wonder why I'm suddenly getting these popups. My security on control panel shows I'm protected by Norton Virus and Firewall protection installed and on. Support shows all is working for Norton.
PS: These warnings usually come when I first turn on my computer in the morning. Also if I turn off my computer and then turn it back on this happens and doesn't happen often.
