Firewall Application Blocking - "Don't ask again for this application" not working

Hello folks!

For a long time, in many different versions, the check-box "Don't ask again for this application" on Norton Security: Application Blocking dialog screen for MAC does not work!!!

Even though you check the option to "Don't ask again for this application", every time you launch any application, Norton still alerts you that "The app 'x' is attempting to use Internet" and asks you to 'Block' or 'Allow' the application to access the Internet! Every time!!!

You check the list of applications on Firewall setup Application Blocking and they are there, allowed!

Which app?!? Examples: all MS Office apps, Microsoft AU Daemon, Google Chrome, Google Software Update, RTProtectionDaemon, etc.

For sure, there is a bug on Norton Security for MAC.

Please advise. Thanks in advance!

Padovani.

I'm also experiencing the same "Don't ask again for this application." For my setup it started with the 8.1.1 or 8.1.2 update and running the latest 10.14.2 Mojave and it seems to revolve around the Microsoft Office apps and Daemon.

In addition, somewhere in the above updates I can no longer "clear all log entries" from the Security History Logs. The only way I found to do it is to "Clear logs older than" "blank" in the days field.

this issues seems to have been around since 7.x. Not sure what Norton is looking to match within the applications, but several constantly ask if they should be blocked or allowed internet when launched. seems like it should be an easy fix if they would look at the issue.
