Firewall in NIS update blocking physical media player tethered by ethernet cable to PC

Hi,  I have a Uebo M200 media player box physically tethered to my PC via Ethernet cable since Uebo is asking $45 ($30 + $15 S&H) for a "802.11n/b/g 300 Mbps Wireless USB Adaptor" which they say is "specially designed" for Uebo media players and apparently is only available from them - (no brick-and-mortar or online retailer carries Uebo stuff anymore). Also, my router is tethered to my ISP's fiber optic equipment implanted in my basement wall making it impractical to physically connect my router directly to the Uebo in my living room.

Until now, I haven't had any trouble streaming media files from my PC to the Uebo to my TV with this quirky setup until I updated NIS a few days ago to version 22.5.0.124.

Now I have to go into NIS > Settings > Firewall and toggle "Smart Firewall" to "Off" to allow the Uebo media player box to view/stream my PC's sub-folders and files even though, on my PC, I've shared all my media folders by right-clicking and selecting "Properties" and "Sharing".

(If this helps, my Uebo shows up in my PC's network and sharing center with the description, "Unidentified network - no internet access" rather than as a "device" named "Uebo" which I suspect is because of the weird physical Ethernet tethering).

Is there a way to configure the Smart Firewall to allow my Uebo box to talk to my PC via the physically connected Ethernet ports in both?
