firewall rules automatically created for local security authority process

My laptop starting (this morning) taking a very long time to boot up. The only thing I can find that is new is from Norton Securities which ran something last night. My laptop has always booted up quickly until today and the only thing that has changed on it is what Norton ran last night.

This first message is "Norton firewall rules automatically created for local security authority process".  This was for lsass.exe file. After creating rules it updated intrusion prevention definitions, monitoring signatures, says it Enabled intrusion prevention (does this mean it was previously disabled?),says it is protecting my connection from a newly detected network? It states protecting connection from newly detected network several times with odd networks I am unfamiliar with.

Something is making my laptop take very long to boot up. Can someone please help me with this and let me know how to fix this problem?

Thanks for any help you can give me.
