Firewall Setting AlertThreadEnable Changed?

There are several entries in my NIS12 history log that say Firewall Setting "AlertThreadEnable" Changed Old Value 0 New Value 1.  It happens when I restart my laptop.  Is this normal or a problem?

Hi car825,

I've got those too on a desktop.  Not sure what it means - this is a new one.

I don't know what it is, but it is normal; happens on every computer with NIS 2012.

Sounds like its turning on the thread that is used to send alerts to you when you come back to your computer.you have nothing to wory about.
