Is there a recommended firewall rule for allowing access to the port Dropbox uses? I can't seem to nail down which IPs are related to Dropbox and which ones are not.

Apologies. IP addresses*
" Apologies. IP addresses*"
I know what you meant but how do you determine that Dropbox uses static public IP's??
Regards,
Perhaps I am naive, but making an exception for a port that Dropbox uses without specifying which IP addresses can connect to it seems like an easy way for an attacker to access a port on my machine. Should I trust the dropbox service on my computer should protect against such an attacker?
Hi,
Connect to Dropbox and at the same time run an elevated cmd ,(Admin Rights), and type: netstat -ano
You should see many details about TCP connections, ports used etc.
Add the appropriate entries in NIS Firewall (for Dropbox).
