Hello,
I just upgraded from NIS 2008 to NIS 2009. My firewall settings that alerted me when an
installed program attempted to check for updates (or tried to call out) does not appear to have
carried over to NIS 2009. How can I set this up on NIS 2009 where I would be notified if a
program was calling out and then I could setup the rule.
Is it possible to do this without me going into Internet settings / Smart Firewall / Program control
and finding the exact .exe that will call out?
I’ve looked at Internet settings / Smart Firewall / Advance settings / General rules, but not sure
how to make the changes to keep any installed program from calling out without my approval.
Any help would be appreciated.
