Firewall with Mac OS v10.3.9?

Hello Norton/Symantec board. I’ve an older Macintosh G4, with fully 640 MB of RAM & with Mac OS v10.3.9. So Quickly it does all that I need right-now. Now, I’m hard-wired to the Internet. Does this mean that I need a firewall or not? I saw that the newest Norton Mac Firewall requires Mac OS v10.4.10 or higher. Is there an older version of Norton Mac Firewall available that works with Mac OS v10.3.9? Or as I fear, is this just Another bleep in the Wall? [In 1977 I think, the rock band Pink Floyd released a double-album called, “Dark Side of the Moon”. My oldest brother bought that album & he still owns it. A song there sang-about, “Another bleep in the Wall”. ] Even-if you think that I need to Upgrade my whole Macintosh yet-again, then please don’t hesitate to tell me. I may fret awhile, but at-least I would know. Thank you. P. S. Hello! I attached a portrait.
