I just got Norton 15 for my new HP, replacing my old Compaq using Norton 9, and I had good experence with Norton products through the years.
I actually did 2 backups. On the second go around the "Progress and Performance" screen stayed up at "0%" (now grayed out) for the last several hours. Finished at 7:55PM, and it's 4:00AM in the morning now. The backup was apparently completed, and last step was apparently to "verify the data".
The backup apparently concluded successfully as:
- A restore point was established.
- An "information post" in the event log apparently says so. Message:
Info 6C8F1F7B: A manual independent recovery point of drive C:\ was created successfully.
Details:

- Status for OS (C:\) .. Backed Up with a "green checkmark".
But on the other hand, the Norton icon in the task bar:
- Still has a "red X".
- I'm still greeted with an "At Risk" message".
Is there something else I'm missing, or did not do??? Or would it go away eventually??
