First time Norton user - Lots of weird things in Smart Firewall History

Hey.

This is my second topic. As you might have known already, I am new to Norton and learning a lot about it. I am really liking it but some things are worrying me here.

1) When I go to history and check my firewall settings - well, this PC was started first on 20 August something - and today is 14 September.

From 12 September and on I got a lot of weird events in my firewall history. I have a different language on Norton which makes a little bit hard to translate to English but I hope you understand.

It's blocking a lot of TCP connections apparently, Windows File Sharing, UPnP, LLMNR, Windows 2000 SMB and so and so on. What are these?

2)

Sometimes in history I see" An instance of iexplorer.exe is trying to access the internet" or Windows Script Host trying to access the internet. What is this and is it something I should worry about?

3)

When will Norton Community Watch collect things from my PC? Does it only do it under certain circumstances or every now and then?

4)

Will Norton block malware that injects itself into legit Windows file, for example svchost or services.exe etc?

Because those are a pain in the **bleep** to discover manually. If it was a regular process file ran alone it will be much easier imo.

5)

How good are Norton fighting autorun viruses on USB? I have a USB 500gb that I put my files in from my other infected computer as backup and now I want to put them in this PC with Norton 2010 - how good are Norton 2010 against autorun.inf and what else can I do?
