I live in the State of Pennsylvania. I never had to buy online software before. I going to visit my Uncle out of State for Christmas. He lives in northern NJ. I know this is in advanced to think about, but I am only thinking about it, and trying to get some info.
He said I can download a trial version to see if I like it, and if I like it then I could pay him cash then he could by it using his credit card since I don’t have one. He said I could by one by download.
Does that mean by download I won’t have a tech come out? We live in two different states, so he was thinking a download, and he could help me configure? I never knew there was an installation for online software. I found that out by looking at the Norton site after I hung up with my Uncle because I get excited for new things.
He said only software such as Norton will charge more such as re-installation, renew, upgrade, and such. Is that true? I don’t know if it works like this, but it’s worth asking. Just assuming I like the trial for NAV, and NIS. Would I pay my Uncle one time only, and I have Norton with as many upgrades, and have Norton forever? Or how does it exactly work?
This will be for 1 Home PC with Windows 7 32-bit OS, nothing fancy. How much does it cost for both NAV, and NIS?
