Fix Your Password Field In NIS - Ridiculous!

This is my first day using Norton after 2 years of nightmare using Kaspersky. So I try to setup NIS for first use. I check the password field and it appears to accept 50 character+ passwords so I make a strong 24 character password to secure my safe/vault. No issues. I go to input my password and it does not work. After repeated attempts and safe/vault deletions I discover that NIS ACCEPTS 50+ CHARACTER PASSWORDS NO PROBLEM, BUT IT REMOVES ALL BUT THE FIRST 20 CHARACTERS AND MAKES THE FIRST 20 CHARACTERS YOUR PASSWORD. When you try to input your 20+ character password ti accepts all of the 20+ characters and tells you that you have entered the wrong password! Norton, I am absolutely appalled that I have discovered this on my first day of using your products! This is just the kind of abysmal Kaspersky disasters I experienced over and over again using their product. To make matters worse you locked me out of being able access my account for 1 hour troubleshooting your disaster! My confidence level in Norton products is nonexistent at this point. When are you going to fix this!

ADDITIONALLY, WHY WOULD YOU LIMIT OUR PASSWORDS TO 20 CHARACTERS! ARE YOU TRYING TO GIVE OUR PASSWORDS AWAY! THESE ARE OUR VAULTS/SAFES CONTAINING ALL OF OUR PASSWORDS, CREDIT CARDS, BANKING INFORMATION, ETC, ETC, ETC. i AM REGULARLY USING 100 CHARACTER PASSWORDS THESE DAYS! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE LIMITING US TO 20 CHARACTERS!
