Is the fix updates option safe to use? Yes, the script is available at TenForums. It is essentially a quick way to reset Windows Update related services and components by running some special commands. This troubleshooting step is highlighted on Microsoft's documentation portal, and is also one of the fixes that is often recommended by experts at the Windows community forums. I've personally found these commands helpful, when computers in our household threw errors related to failed updates.

Did you notice this about the author of the article? "Self-proclaimed expert" and Windows not included.!
Attempting to Fine Tune Windows can be really dangerous as I've found out more than once.
And a remark .... not to worry because you can see what it is doing is no help when it will have done it before you could react!
Definitely not for someone who does not know more than the program does, IMO!
FWIW!! Github has recently had its own repository issues so I wouldn't download anything from there personally. DISM, is a much better tool for repairing the overall health of Windows and is reliable. Powershell commands, specifically designed by and for Windows. Windows has built in tools that perform much that is suggested in this program already. Fixdows may look good, I wouldn't trust it on my machines. Too much lacking and just redundant in nature. Others on the otherhand, may find it useful and trustworthy.
