I was not online. All browsers were closed. Then I saw some Norton popups saying "this file is safe". Many files installed into a folder called artur.dubovoy@gmail.com After a brief internet lookup, I deleted the whole lot. It's not the first time something like this happens. Some program suddenly creeps into my computer, complete with dll files and whatever not. Can someone please tell me how to alter my Norton settings so that it systematically blocks all installs unless I give my go-ahead? I mean, I don't want to see a popup window saying "this file is safe", I want to see a popup window asking "do you want this file?". And if I click "no", then it blocks the file and all files coming from the same location. This would create a custom blacklist which I could edit if required (and which could be uploaded to Norton if they want it - if they notice one file systematically rejected by users, they could decide to check it). So, how can I do this, please?
