I have problem with NIS 2011 version 18.6.029. I have the latest update for the version. I read there is a lot problem with 2012 or version 19.2. So, I didn't update it.
Anyway, the problem is that All the foreign language fonts DO NOT DISPLAY properly after the update, such as Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Thai DO NOT display properly ON the title bars, bookmards on web browsers (IE, Chrome, FireFox, and Opera), and any Instant Messenger software, such ask Skype, Pidgin, Google Talk, MSN, and YM.
However, web pages itself do display properly. I need help on getting those things back normally. here is the system background. Windows 7 Utitmate English version, but install different language pack from MS. 100% of the program installed were English support native.
As always, Norton's online chat was useless. A newbie, name SrikXXXX RXXX Gunna, was trying to help. I even let me remote control my system. He blamed it is system problem, not software. WTH? where is the logic to that? It works working totally fine for 7 months, and he is now telling it is my system or Windows fault ? I appreciate his afford, but his logic and blame is wrong, at least it doesn't make sense. I mean, I am also a MCSE too. I know Windows base system.
I don't want to do system restore just to fix this problem. I need a quick fix,.
I think the latest update messed up the registry, and forced the system pointed the wrong fonts.
Would some one have any suggestion how to fix it?
