Wie kan mij helpen. Ik krijg in Windows 8 steeds de boodschap dat ik de beveiliging moet inschakelen maar als ik dat wil doen lukt het niet. Ik heb wel het idee dat Norton werkt. Wat kan ik er aan doen om deze boodschap te laten verdwijnen. Men zegt wel dat dit bekend is bij Microsoft maar er gebeurt niets.

As you say, this is known by both Microsoft and Norton. It has to do with how Windows sees security products.
As long as the Norton icon on the start page, or in the system tray on the desktop show a green check mark, Norton is indead working and protecting you.
It is up to MS and Norton to say when this will be fixed.
Question : Did you upgrade from Win7 or do a fresh install of Win8 on a seperate partition? Fresh install is always the best to do, as you do not inherit rubbish from Win7 then.
I did 3 fresh installs of Win8 untill now on a seperate partition and did not see the problem yet.
