I have Microsoft Family monitoring set up for my kids' login on an HP laptop, and the system emails me a summary of what websites my kids visited and PC usage time.
The website most visited last week was "fqtag.com" with 7 pages visited (and the usage time for them was less than 30 minutes).
I have been searching for info on this URL, and the only references I find are that it's a "Flashback" malware virus downloaded to Mac platforms via a corrupt "Flash installer."
"Trojan-Downloader:OSX/Flashback.C poses as a Flash Player installer and connects to a remote host to obtain further installation files and configurations."
So, I did download a flash installer when I was logged into the laptop but never installed it (and just deleted it from my downloads folder) - argh.
1. Is this malware wreaking havoc on my Windows laptop?
2. Is there a removal tool that works on PCs?
Thanks for the help! Stephanie
