I have an older PC running Windows XP Pro – 32 bit SP3. The computer has only one hard drive (80 gb – NTFS file system) and a CD/DVD read/write optical drive.
Can I use Ghost 10.0 to do a full backup to (and future restore from) an external hard drive connected to a USB 2.0 port?
If yes, do I need a drive
- With an external Power supply as opposed to one that gets its power from the USB port?
- running the same NTFS file system?
Any suggestions on other hard drive specs and recommendations would be appreciated.
