Full Screen Mode does it really work?

Dear Norton Forum.

 

I lost my password and had to recreate a new user.....!!!!:smileysad:

 

I have a question.......

 

I have read in the forum about Silent Mode will turn on when a program runs in Full Screen and when the full Screen Detection are turn on.

 

However, some software I have CANNOT be enlarged to fill the screen on my computer....so silent mode is totally useless.....unless I manually configure that particular program.....is that right?

 

Also, I noticed that even when programs started in FULL SCREEN (ie :- MS Excel, MS Word).....I noticed NIS2010 Silent mode is not ON....(because the NIS Icon in the system tray does not turn grey). This happened even when the Full Screen Detection are turn on.
