I recently upgraded from NIS 2008 to NIS 2010. In 2008 I had a full system scan scheduled for 8.pm every Friday. In 2010 I have left NIS to do an idle time full system scan which I think is done once a week. The problem is that every Friday at 8pm a window appears telling me that a scan has been cancelled because there are no items to scan. I think this is left over from NIS 2008 but how do I stop it from appearing. I have a nasty feeling that this might be something in the registry which I will leave well alone and just put up with it.
Any thoughts please?
