I have installed NIS 2012 on an XP laptop with two users. I ran a full system scan from User A, and it found 2 tracking cookies. I then logged in as User B and ran a quick scan. To my surprise it found 40 tracking cookies.
I cannot understand why the full scan didn't find the offending cookies. Is this fault restricted to Tracking Cookies, or could a more damaging virus be missed?

Basically the two users are treated as two seperate computers. Norton can't remove threats existing on the other user. This is similiar to two rooms under the same house. You can do all the cleaning you want with your room but you can't clean the other room (the other user). You will have to enter that room and clean it again.
