The United States has taken steps to shut down several fake tech support scams that have cost consumers tens of millions of dollars, the Federal Trade Commission said on Wednesday.

That's great news.  Thanks for sharing.

 

I am sick of them calling me.  I no longer answer calls from private numbers and tell everyone I know to HANG UP straight away when they receive this type of call.
