I'm running Vista 64 bit. Due to some problems with some back-ups I made initially and changing save locations, Symantec Support had me un-install and re-install Ghost 12 a few time. All is working well, and has been for months.
I just noticed that I have a Service called GEARsecurity. It should start GEARSEC.EXE. When I double click on that service to open the properties, I get a dialog box stating that this is basically an invalid Device ID? After dismissing that dialog box the properties does appear. The problem I guess is that file is not on my system?
From the README for Ghost 12, that file 'should be' installed with Ghost and removed when un-installed?
Can anyone shed some light on this?
I disabled the service and all seems well. I can't DELETE the service, at least not without messing with the registry it seems?
