GeoSense - New Windows 7 Sensor - Insight Reports Reser.Reputation.1 Threat

I just downloading GeoSense 64bit edition(geosenseforwindows.com), a new Windows 7 Sensor which was created by Rafael Rivera (withinwindows.com) and Long Zheng (istartedsomething.com). They, in my personal opinion, are two incredible bloggers and programmers.

Geosense "is a Windows Sensor that provides the Location and Sensors platform in Windows 7 with accurate and reasonably ubiquitous positioning information without requiring or the assistance of GPS hardware, enabling more practical location-based applications and scenarios on Windows 7."

"Although not required, it works best on computers with a WiFi adapter."

File Insight analyzed and classified it as a threat.

I'm running NIS 17.5.0.127, Win7 x64, and I'm going to report this as a probable false positive. I intend to inform both Rafael Rivera and Long Zheng about this. The Reser.Reputation.1 threat classification seems to be misplaced. It is a new program and considering the solid reputation of the creators, I not sure if this threat classification has any merit. Please look into this.

Thanks,

Mike
